| Rough Edges Art Productions (REAP) and the Windsor Art Center have joined hands to present the work of two first generation Latin American artists Balam Soto and Corina Alvarezdelugo. The exhibition runs from October 25-November 24 with a public reception on Saturday, October 27 5-7 PM at the Windsor Art Center, Mechanic Street, Windsor, CT. Americana 1 will include a Brazilian jazz concert on November 4th @ 3 PM with Joe Carter and Isabella Mendes, and the film Ellis and panel discussion I Am America on November 8 at 6 PM. I Am America will explore art and the Latin American experience in the United States. Panelists include Balam Soto, Corina Alvarezdeluge, Carlos Hernandez Chavez and Juan Brito. Each panelist will discuss his or her own experience as a Latin American artist.
